Hitachi received the order of power generation equipment from the Shanghai Eurofo investment group.
Hitachi supplies three gas turbines to the thermal power plant built by Shanghai Eurofo in Shanxi.
This is the first supply record for dedicating a gas turbine to China.
The received order is gas turbines for cokes synthetic gas.
The output of plant is 120 MW and will be operated in 2009. Electric power is supplied to the ordinary homes in Shanxi.
This gas turbine can fire natural gas as fuel, and also has high capability in two-year continuous operation.
In Shanxi, about ten thermal power plants will be built within several years from now on.
Hitachi advances additional order of gas turbines and auxiliary equipment in Shanxi.
