Hitachi, Ltd. power group (following, Hitachi) was received the order of five H-25 gas turbines from L&T (Larsen & Toubro Limited) which is a major engineering company of India. L&T receives the order of a set of cogeneration plants in which this supplies an electric power and a steam to the Panipat petroleum-refining plant of IOCL (Indian Oil Priam Corporation Limited) which is major State Oil Company of India by EPC contract. Hitachi supplies India H-25 gas turbine for the first time. By this order received, the number of ordering of H-15/H-25 gas turbine will break through a total of 100 sets.
This cogeneration plant consists of five gas turbines, five heat recovery steam generators, three steam turbines, etc., and supplies total 227 MW electric power and more than 800 t/h steam to the Panipat petroleum-refining plant of IOCL.
The completion of plant is scheduled for July, 2009, and Hitachi supplies the 1st set of H-25 gas turbine in December, 2007, and supplies one set in each month, total five sets.
Hitachi proceeds positive ordering expansion of H-15/H-25 gas turbine in Asian market where electricity demand is growing rapidly from now on also including India.
